Yunyan Economic Development Zone has been developing embodied intelligence since last year. To date, 86 digital economy enterprises have settled in the zone.
In June, Guizhou Kexun Yingqian Technology Co launched its embodied intelligence data collection business. The firm has more than 90 frontline data collectors, focusing on three major scenarios: homes, hotels, and retail supermarkets.
Adopting a robot-free data collection approach, human operators wear sensors to capture motion trajectories and environmental data, generating training materials at low cost and high efficiency.
The company can deliver 10,000 hours of valid training data per month. It expects to raise its monthly delivery capacity to 20,000 hours in September to support the iterative upgrade of home care robots, hotel service robots, and supermarket stocktaking robots.
To further optimize its industrial ecosystem, Yunyan Economic Development Zone introduces billion-yuan-level industrial orders through order-oriented investment promotion.
It also allocates an annual special fund of 10 million yuan ($1.49 million) for the digital industry to provide solid support for enterprises' R&D testing and technological upgrading.
