The 2026 Asian Speed Track Series (Guiyang, China), drawing 384 athletes from 48 teams representing seven Asian countries and regions, concluded in Yunyan district on July 26.

The 500m+D Sprint garnered the largest number of registrations and the greatest attention, emerging as a highlight of the event. According to Sun Xinxiang, the tournament's chief referee, the event comprehensively tests athletes' speed, explosive power, cornering techniques, and overall capabilities, making it a favorite among racers.

The event organization won wide acclaim. Many coaches and parents said that the competition schedule was well-coordinated with thoughtful logistical support, allowing athletes to fully concentrate on the races. The pleasant summer climate of Guiyang, with an average temperature of 22.3 C, and the international-standard track have also given the event an extra edge.
This event gave athletes a chance to compete and exchange ideas, boosted the popularization of roller skating across the region, and gave local Guizhou athletes experience participating in major competitions. By hosting this international event to high standards, Guiyang has further enhanced its ability to organize large-scale tournaments, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of its sports undertakings.
