Taiping Road

Once home to Longjing Qiuyin (Autumn Shade at Longjing), one of the eight celebrated sights of Guiyang during the Ming Dynasty, Taiping Road has been thoughtfully revitalized into one of the city's most vibrant cultural districts. Today, the reconstructed Rouyuan Gate City Wall faces the contemporary Longjing Pavilion across the quietly flowing river beneath Yudai Bridge, creating a striking contrast between history and modern design.

Rather than recreating an ancient street, Taiping Road reinterprets the city's heritage through contemporary architecture and urban design.
