Rising in the heart of downtown Guiyang, Qianling Mountain is often described as an urban green oasis. Covering more than 4.26 million square meters, the park is named after the mountain once known as the "No 1 Mountain in Southern Guizhou". Here, tranquility and nature exist side by side with the vibrant rhythm of urban life.

Rolling hills, lush forests, and peaceful valleys create an idyllic landscape, while mountain springs, lakes, caves, temples, and abundant wildlife make the park one of Guiyang's most beloved green spaces. From the summit of Daluo Ridge, visitors are rewarded with sweeping views of the entire city. Scenic highlights include Hongfu Temple, Qianling Lake, and Qilin Cave, all set amid flourishing vegetation and rich biodiversity. Home to more than 1,000 species of plants and medicinal herbs, as well as over 100 species of birds, the park fully lives up to its reputation as a place where "the beauty of nature flourishes within the city".

The park's zoo, established in 1958, is another popular attraction. Visitors can meet a variety of rare animals, including the famous Northern Pigtail Macaque "Xiaolaofei", known for its playful personality, as well as giant pandas and the charming young lion.
