Yunyan to hold coffee culture festival

The third Yunyan district coffee culture festival will be held at Xinyin 1950 Discovery from June 12 to 14 to bring diverse coffee cultural experiences to local residents and visitors.

Centering on coffee competitions, professional contests, and a coffee culture bazaar, the event will build a communication platform for coffee enthusiasts. It will also create a summer consumption space, helping further boost urban consumption and drive the in-depth integration and development of the coffee industry, cultural tourism, and commercial economy.

The event features the Guiyang regional rounds of two top national authoritative competitions: the CBC China Barista Championship and the China Brewers Cup Championship. Professional contestants from across the country will gather in Yunyan for three days of skill competitions.

The coffee bazaar has attracted over 60 high-quality brands from home and abroad, including 40 leading coffee brands from outside Guizhou province, 10 boutique coffee roasters based in Guiyang, and 10 local bakeries. It opens daily from 11 am to 8 pm. Visitors can get hands-on experience with various coffee tools and try making different varieties of coffee.

The event will be open to the public free of charge, with a host of perks available, including brand discounts, free tastings, and interactive lucky draws.
