Coffee craze boosts Yunyan tourism during May Day holiday

Specialty coffee shops in Yunyan district drew huge crowds with their distinctive flavors and professional standards, becoming a highlight of Yunyan's cultural and tourism market throughout the May Day holiday from May 1 to 5.

At a cafe run by the champion of the World Brewers Cup, customer flow at Captain George doubled during the holiday. Its signature drink Kyoto Geisha has already become a huge hit due to its distinctive flavor.

The cafe's manager said, "By adhering to professional brewing techniques, we ensure every cup of coffee maintains a consistently high quality to serve visitors specialty coffee that balances craftsmanship with a palatable flavor."

Black Rock features specialty drinks with distinct Guizhou flavors, blending local ingredients such as chameleon plant and chestnut rose with coffee. Its Guiyang combo series has won widespread acclaim for its novel taste.

"We aim to infuse local flavors into coffee, allowing visitors from other regions to remember Guiyang's one-of-a-kind taste through a single cup of coffee," said a staff member at Black Rock.

Located on Guishan Street, Fudou Coffee boasts a tranquil atmosphere, attracting hordes of young visitors.

"Our focus is crafting specialty coffee with a bright, complex flavor," said a barista at the cafe. Using premium beans and refined brewing techniques, Fudou Coffee creates a cozy coffee-drinking experience, allowing visitors to slow down and savor the holiday amid the old streets.
