Yunyan barista wins East China championship

Liang Jiachen, founder of Fudou Coffee in Guiyang's Yunyan district, won the 2026 China Barista Championship (CBC) – East China Division regional championship, which was held in Shanghai in early April, with solid professional skills and steady performance, qualifying for the national finals.

The CBC, a sub‑competition of the World Barista Championship (WBC) in China, provides baristas with a platform to showcase their skills, share coffee knowledge, and exchange ideas.

Liang's victory shows the value of coffee competitions for the professional growth of industry practitioners. Competitions are not merely contests of victory or defeat, but opportunities to break through personal limits, test technical skills, and broaden perspectives.
