Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, welcomed approximately 383,700 visitors during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept 15 to 17, generating a total tourism revenue of around 312 million yuan ($44.2 million).
The district organized over 10 cultural performances and activities during the holiday to cater to the cultural and tourism interests of locals and tourists.
At Xinyin Discovery, a communal mooncake-sharing activity garnered significant attention. A giant two-meter-wide mooncake attracted numerous participants to share in its deliciousness.

Tea tasting, traditional garden parties, and classical music performances created a festive ambiance steeped in traditional cultural charm. Locals and tourists experienced the warmth and beauty of the Mid-Autumn Festival amidst laughter and joy.
A concert at the bustling Taiping Road drew in numerous residents. Classic songs evoked nostalgia, leading everyone through a unique Mid-Autumn celebration filled with music and dance.
Various large complexes in Yunyan also rolled out activities, offering residents a colorful and vibrant Mid-Autumn experience.
