The Sri Lanka-China Children's Art Exhibition and Competition award ceremony took place on Sept 8 at the Youth Palace in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The Sri Lanka-China Children's Art Exhibition and Competition is an event aimed at promoting cultural exchange between children of the two countries. It provides a platform for showcasing cultural characteristics and artistic expressions and actively fosters exchanges between the two nations.
The 61 artworks from Yunyan won three first-place prizes, two second-place prizes, three third-place prizes, three special excellence awards, 16 excellence awards, and 38 display awards.
Through their whimsical imaginations and innocent perspectives, the children have created beautiful paintings depicting the landscapes and ethnic customs of Guizhou. This exhibition has allowed them to showcase their works on the international stage.
