Air volleyball tournament kicks off in Yunyan

The 2nd "Cool Guiyang" National Urban Air Volleyball (Elite) Invitational Tournament kicked off on Sept 7 at the Qianlingshan Sports Park in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

With 64 teams and over 600 athletes and referees, the event became a vibrant celebration of urban air volleyball, showcasing the unique charm of "Cool Guiyang".

As the whistle blew, action unfolded simultaneously across six courts. Players displayed enthusiasm and vigor in every move – passing, receiving, spiking, blocking – creating fierce competition. Cheers and support reverberated throughout the event's lively atmosphere.

The organizing committee's comprehensive upgrade of facilities, referee arrangements, schedule design, accommodations, and catering ensured an enjoyable experience for all participants and spectators.

This event demonstrated Guiyang's high-level organizational capabilities in sports and advanced the integration of "sports + tourism".
