Guizhou Industrial Design City spurs vitality in Yunyan

Yunyan district has emerged as the political, economic, and cultural hub of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, boasting significant political advantages, a comprehensive array of facilities, a well-connected transportation network, and efficient service systems, providing vast potential for innovation in the area of industrial design.

Relying on the cooperative efforts between Guizhou and Guangdong, in August last year, Yunyan, the Guizhou Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development Promotion Center, and the Guangdong Industrial Design Association signed a cooperation framework agreement to promote industrial design development.

Through this trilateral collaboration effort, the three parties aim to establish a local industrial design organization in Guizhou, leading to the inception of the Guizhou Industrial Design City in Yunyan's Sanma Industrial Park.

Focusing on industrial design industrialization and key principles like "innovation-driven" and "resource refinement", the Guizhou Industrial Design City leverages the province's resource advantages to facilitate the deep integration of Guizhou's manufacturing industrial chain with advanced innovation and value chains.

As Guizhou's first industrial design industry cluster zone, the Guizhou Industrial Design City is set to strengthen the foundation of the design industry, consolidate design industry resources, and construct a public service platform for the design industry.

It aims to become Guizhou's premier, international, and professional industrial design service outsourcing hub, empowering the entire provincial industrial chain through productive services and establishing a service innovation ecosystem that combines an "incubator + accelerator" model for Guizhou manufacturing.
