"Humen Lane is usually crowded at dinner because the food here is famous, but summer vacation has brought an influx in tourists, so there are crowds in the afternoon now as well," said local resident Zhang Jing.
Out-of-town visitor Shen Mingming mentioned that Humen Lane was the first stop for her and her friends, who were eager to taste the local cuisine in Guiyang. They had already sampled snacks like egg rolls, spring rolls, and ice powder, and were planning to visit Xinxin Beef next.

"Business has been much better in the past two weeks compared to usual, especially with a noticeable increase in visitors from other provinces. To meet the increased demand, we have nearly doubled our daily food supplies this week," said the owner of Xinxin Beef.
In the golden glow of the setting sun, Humen Lane resembled a mesmerizing painting. The soft light gleamed on the road and walls as tourists took photos in front of the vivid graffiti murals in the lane.
