Yunyan recognized for its efforts in investment promotion, business environment

Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, achieved outstanding results, ranking among the top 10 in the province for both investment promotion and business environment. This is according to an evaluation and assessment that was recently released by the province.

Since 2023, Yunyan has introduced 157 new industrial projects, with a total investment of 10.1 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) in place. The district attracted 36 leading companies last year, including Ocean Engine and Ottno, as well as three projects from Fortune Global 500 companies, such as CR Pharmaceutical.

Furthermore, Yunyan has focused on meeting the needs of businesses. It has done so by fostering a strong atmosphere in which the business environment is emphasized. This effort has led to the establishment of 17 "15-minute government service circles", and a 72.43-percent reduction in administrative licensing time limits.

The district has also disbursed a total of 61.63 million yuan in various business support funds and waived a cumulative total of 8.06 billion yuan in taxes and fees.

By significantly enhancing its service capabilities and standards, Yunyan has created a first-class business environment, providing strong support for attracting more high-quality projects and empowering high-quality economic development within its jurisdiction.

Looking ahead, Yunyan aims to further improve the quality and effectiveness of investment attraction and talent introduction. It intends to provide full life-cycle services for market entities, all while accelerating the establishment of a business environment that is market-oriented and internationalized. This will unleash even greater vitality in the economic and social development of the region.
