Yunyan's consumer market sees surge over holiday

Various large-scale key commercial complexes in Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, launched a variety of promotional activities to stimulate holiday consumption during the New Year's Day holiday.

The cumulative sales of seven large-scale key commercial complexes in the district, including InCity Shopping Center, Guiyang Yitian Holiday Shopping Center, and retail giant Suning, reached 47.58 million yuan ($6.67 million).

Additionally, many merchants in major department stores across the district organized "hot sales", cash discounts, free shopping coupons to further stimulate consumption.
