This year, the taxation bureau of Yunyan district in Guiyang has processed more than 57 million yuan ($8.03 million) in export tax rebates for 31 companies, thus reducing financial burdens and helping them go global.
To solve the tax problems encountered by enterprises in the process of going global, the bureau has expanded its offline and online channels to provide better guidance.
Offline visits have been carried out to publicize tax-related knowledge to companies. This includes policy documents, preferential policies on export tax rebates, and cross-border transaction FAQs. This helps companies understand international tax trends.
Through WeChat, tax-enterprise interactive platforms, and other online channels, the bureau has remotely assisted and guided companies in filing out declarations, which helps companies to solve tax-related problems without much travel.
"In the last three years, the company's export value has reached more than $60 million. The total export tax rebate that the company has obtained exceeds 40 million yuan. We have mainly used these tax rebates to pay upstream and downstream suppliers, as well as to pay employee wages and benefits. This has alleviated the company's financial pressure," said Li Fei, chief accountant of the overseas branch of the international business department of China Railway No 5 Engineering Group Co.
