Yunyan, Guizhou Normal University to build demo base for sci-tech achievements

Yunyan district of Guiyang signed an agreement with Guizhou Normal University on Dec 8 to build a Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Demonstration Base in the district.

At the signing ceremony, Zhang Shaodong, deputy Party secretary and president of Guizhou Normal University, expressed his sincere gratitude to Yunyan for its long-standing support for the university.

He said the university and the district have a deep historical connection and have forged strong emotional bonds.

The university has already introduced a group of high-quality scientific research talents. Its research capabilities have also been further strengthened, which is consistent with the development needs of Yunyan, Zhang added. 

Guizhou Normal University will inject its top talent and best research resources to boost the cooperation and serve the high-quality development of the local economy in Yunyan, Zhang said.

Wang Qian, deputy Party secretary and head of Yunyan, said Guizhou Normal University has outstanding talent resources and strong scientific research strength.

He said the signing ceremony marks a new milestone in the cooperation between the two sides.

Yunyan will continue to provide one-on-one and comprehensive high-quality services to Guizhou Normal University, and promote common construction and win-win cooperation between the two sides for a more favorable business environment.
