Yunyan has integrated all the essential information on soil and water conservation, daily monitoring, compensation fee payment, and acceptance of all production and construction projects within its jurisdiction into the Guizhou Province Soil and Water Conservation Big Data Platform.
Especially with the support of new technologies such as "satellite image remote sensing monitoring + soil and water conservation database," the water management department can effectively eliminate soil erosion hazards in their nascent state.
Since 2023, the district's water affairs bureau has used intelligent drones to collect and verify more than 50 patches of soil erosion levels in the entire district.

More than 50 soil and water conservation supervision inspections and acceptance checks have been conducted through big data analysis.
So far, driven by information technology, the soil and water conservation rate in the entire district has increased to 93.78 percent.
