Facial recognition for medical insurance facilitates patients

Since mid-September of this year, the Yunyan District People's Hospital, the first to adopt medical insurance self-service and comprehensive service terminals, has integrated facial recognition technology for seamless payment processing of medical insurance through these advanced terminals.

Patients are no longer required to carry physical medical insurance cards, display electronic medical insurance vouchers, or enter medical insurance passwords. Payment can now be seamlessly executed through facial recognition technology.

This has effectively improved the efficiency of patient's medical treatment, payment, and inquiry-related services, providing convenience for patients.
