A woman surnamed Liang recently visited the Caiguan community health service center in Yunyan district of Guiyang, underscoring the strong local demand for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment.

Liu Guanggui, the attending physician at the center, determined that Liang's lumbago as having been caused by her unhealthy lifestyle habits, using TCM diagnostic methods.
He recommended acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatment. He advised her to avoid prolonged stretches of sitting and to maintain a balanced daily routine.
In addition to providing regular TCM outpatient services, the center offers a door-to-door service for elderly residents with mobility issues.

Since 2023, the center has provided TCM consultations for more than 850 patients, conducted TCM constitution identification screenings for 1,336 elderly people, and provided TCM health guidance and services for 1,739 children.
The center will continue to provide more comprehensive and diversified medical services to the community, and leverage the advantages of TCM treatment, allowing residents to enjoy even more favorable healthcare services.
