During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday from Sept 29 to Oct 6, various commercial complexes in Yunyan district of Guiyang adopted targeted measures to stimulate consumption, offering a wide array of activities and events to boost the festive spending spree.
Against the backdrop of these exciting holiday promotions, the consumption market in the district operated steadily, making a noticeable recovery.
Throughout the holiday period, key shopping malls in the district received 1.2 million visits, with cumulative sales reaching nearly 89 million yuan ($12.3 million).
The Yitian Holiday World in Yunyan organized 17 events during the holiday focusing on showcasing cultural heritage, local theater performances, traditional Guizhou-style music band shows, and more.
These activities attracted nearly 400,000 visitors, a growth of 181 percent compared to the previous year. Cumulative sales exceeded 15 million yuan, reflecting a 109-percent growth.
These impressive figures indicate a strong rebound in the consumption market during the holiday period, signaling a positive outlook for Yunyan's economy.
