Yunyan among top 100 districts in comprehensive tourism strength

Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked 7th among the top 100 districts in terms of comprehensive tourism strength in the 2023 National District Tourism Research Report.

Yunyan, as one of the oldest districts in Guiyang, showcases the city's history and trends. The district carries the memories and emotions of the people of Guiyang.

Visiting Qianling Mountain Park, established in 1957, is a daily habit for many Guiyang residents. During this year's May Day holiday, the park received approximately 460,000 visitors, a record high.

Wenchang Pavilion in Yunyan district is another popular attraction in the city and has a history of over 400 years.

Since the beginning of this summer, Yunyan has been holding roadside concerts at the Wenchang Pavilion. This not only provides a new stage for local musicians to showcase their talent, but also brings a touch of modernity to the old city's culture.

The street concerts have so far attracted over 10,000 visitors.
