Preschool education experts visit Yunyan kindergarten

A group of experts in preschool education from China and overseas visited the Yunyan District Twelfth Kindergarten on Aug 30 in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The Yunyan District Twelfth Kindergarten is a public kindergarten that opened in October 2021 and covers 5,402 square meters, with 12 teaching classes.

For over two years since its opening, the kindergarten has focused on promoting the personal development of each child and respecting individual differences.

The kindergarten has established a curriculum called "Happy Valley," which allows children to explore, discover, communicate, cooperate, and actively construct their knowledge through daily life activities.

Led by Luo Zhiqin, dean of the kindergarten, the expert team visited various facilities, including the cultural hall, game room, children's planting area, classrooms, and a graffiti area.

The experts listened to the introduction about the kindergarten's cultural development and left their best wishes for its future success and the children's personal and academic development.

During the symposium, the team listened to a detailed explanation of the curriculum and had in-depth discussions on educational concepts such as improving children's autonomy and creativity in learning.
