Private enterprises in Yunyan district honored

Several companies in Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have been listed among the top 10 private enterprises in Guiyang and Guian New Area.

Among them are Guizhou Yibai Pharmaceuticals, Guizhou Microchip Technology, and Guizhou Lianqiang Technology.

Guizhou Yibai Pharmaceuticals, founded in 1995, is a high-tech enterprise that specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of new drugs. It is also an industrial enterprise in Yunyan district and has been recognized as one of the top 100 pharmaceutical companies in China by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In December 2021, Guizhou Microchip Technology became the first company to commence trial operations in Yunyan district's Collaborative Innovation Industrial Cluster. With a registered capital of 400 million yuan ($55.8 million), the company has technical and market advantages in the fields of chip testing, board manufacturing, semiconductor development, and the integrated design of complete machinery. In 2022, it achieved an output value of 626 million yuan.

In recent years, Yunyan district has continuously improved its business environment, the stimulated development vitality of private companies, and achieved phased results in various areas of the private economy.

In 2022, the district added 16,000 market entities, including 105 national technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises. It has also established the Guizhou e-commerce cluster headquarters base, with 15 recognized headquarters-oriented enterprises, ranking first in the city.

In addition, the district has cultivated and developed the digital economy, implemented 108 demonstration projects for big data applications, and introduced 18 outstanding digital economy projects.

To keep shoring up market vitality, the district has been implementing the policy of supporting private enterprises to expand their business, increase investment, and upgrade their brands.
