The Nanya Mountain Park in Yunyan has been fully open to the public free of charge since April 1. It is a demonstration park in Guiyang's "City of a Thousand Parks" initiative, with a construction area of 42.40 hectares.

As a key urban area, Yunyan is accelerating the layout of its urban and community parks to increase the per-capita green space index and expand urban green spaces and open spaces.

Through tree-planting activities, the district has also promoted a culture of mass participation, shared construction, and joint management.

Meanwhile, Yunyan is determined to fight the battle against pollution and take strong measures to reduce smog and other forms of pollution.

From January to May, the ambient air quality in the district was rated excellent for 98.7 percent of the time, with a comprehensive index of 3.17, meeting the national standard for second-level environmental air quality.

Regarding the battle for clear water, efforts have been made to consolidate the achievements made in terms of managing the water environment and improving the way rural wastewater from domestic households is treated.

According to the water quality assessment results of 2022, all the river sections and water functional areas in Yunyan were under control for management, with a compliance rate of 100 percent, ranking 3rd among the 12 assessed districts and counties in the city.
