Guizhou Integrated Circuit Design Institute established in Yunyan

The unveiling ceremony for the Guizhou Integrated Circuit Design Institute and the Guizhou Integrated Circuit Frontier Forum were held in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 9.

Jiang Fangju, a local Party secretary and director of the Guiyang bureau of science and technology, and Zhang Zuneng, deputy head of Yunyan district, attended the unveiling ceremony and gave speeches, as did Yang Xiaodong, general manager of Beijing Empyrean Technology Co, and Xie Quan, president of College of Big Data and Information Engineering at Guizhou University.

After the unveiling ceremony, Yan Jiang from North China University of Technology and Ma Jiajun from Guizhou University delivered academic reports on the development of integrated circuit technology and the industry, and the development of quantum partial laser gyros and special chips.

The Guizhou Integrated Circuit Design and Research Institute was jointly established by Guizhou Qianxin Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering and Technology Research Co, Beijing Empyrean Technology Co, and the College of Big Data and Information Engineering at Guizhou University.

It will provide services for the integrated circuit industry in technology research and development, technological innovation, talent training, and incubation with an eye on commercialization.
