An exhibition of old photos featuring the back alleys of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, opened to the public for free at Guizhou Art Museum in Yunyan district on May 20. It runs until June 5.

About 50 works were exhibited, including photos of back streets and alleys in counties, districts, and cities of Guiyang.
Of those, 23 focused on the old streets and alleys of Yunyan, accounting for almost half of the exhibition, highlighting the rich history and memories of this storied district.

In these works, visitors can feel the warm family scenes of Liyu street in Yunyan, and enjoy the courtyard life of Zhonglie street, evoking a strong sense of the hustle and bustle of daily life and the merchants operating there over the years.
The exhibition also stokes old memories and rekindles a sense of nostalgia for old Guiyang.
