New mountain park opens to public for free in Yunyan

Nanya Mountain Park in Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently opened to the public for free, giving locals another top spot in which to enjoy their leisure time while soaking up the verdant natural scenery.

With a construction area of 42.4 mu (2.83 hectares), it serves as a demonstration park in Guiyang that boasts lush vegetation. It is also the largest urban mountain park in Yunyan that offers free public access.

In the park, there are 3,000 meters of landscaped roads, 200 meters of wooden plank roads, and 11 leisure squares and sightseeing platforms.

The park also offers fitness equipment, garbage collection points, toilets and other scenic service supporting facilities, and various promotional signs can be seen dotted all around.
