Yunyan holds first clinical skills competition

To welcome the 112th International Nurses Day on May 12, Yunyan district of Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held its first clinical skills competition on May 9.

The competition was hosted by Yunyan's bureau of health and organized by Yunyan district people's hospital.

Divided into an individual and team competition, it mainly focused on the clinical thinking ability of contestants, while showcasing the proper code of conduct for medics in the district and promoting mutual learning

During the competition, all participants not only demonstrated a solid professional level but also reflected their rich knowledge of the medical industry.

Yunyan district people's hospital won first place in the team competition after a challenging contest.

"The competition not only improved our operational skills, but also allowed us to clarify the direction of future clinical learning," said He Lin, an orthopedic nurse at Yunyan district people's hospital.
