With the upcoming May Day holiday from April 29 to May 3, Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is launching an array of activities to welcome the holiday and help promote the recovery of the cultural, commercial, and tourism economy.
The holiday activities will kick off on April 29 and run until May 3. Activities include a Dai dance and Miao music party, water-splashing festival, starlight night market and performances related to intangible cultural heritage.
Additionally, the activities will give people an in-depth experience of ethnic customs through cross-regional cultural exchange.
Those who are interested can also participate in other events including a beer-tasting activity and bubble pool carnival.
