Yunyan's top political advisory body starts annual session

The 11th Yunyan District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) – the top political advisory body in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – started its second session on Feb 20.

The session was attended by 238 political advisers, including Zhang Hong, chairman of the CPPCC Yunyan District Committee.

Wang Qiyun, Party secretary of Yunyan, delivered a keynote speech during the session.

Zhang delivered a work report on behalf of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC Xiuwen County Committee, reviewing work in 2022 and setting tasks and goals for 2023.

Tang Huihong, vice-chairwoman of the CPPCC Yunyan District Committee, reported on the handling of proposals from members of the 11th CPPCC Yunyan District Committee at the session.

A total of 212 proposals were submitted throughout the year, and 194 were reviewed and filed. All proposals have been processed, according to Tang.
