Garden party in Yunyan a hit during Lantern Festival

The Lantern Festival garden party was held at Wenchang Pavilion in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 5.

In the performance area, the organizers prepared lion dance performances for visitors, as well as a variety of folk cultural programs such as martial arts, face changing, a zither performance, cross talks, and clapper talk.

Traditional games such as ancient poem rubbings, puzzles, and five-in-a-row were also popular among visitors.

"The Lantern Festival is joyful and lively. The event is very meaningful. During the garden party, everyone can feel the charm of traditional culture," said Zeng Tingting, a Yunyan local.
