Yunyan Spring Festival Goods Festival begins

The 2023 Yunyan Spring Festival Goods Festival was launched on Jan 7 on Zhengxin Street in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

This year's Spring Festival falls on Jan 22.

A woman surnamed Jin said that to Guiyang people, buying Spring Festival goods on Zhengxin Street is an indispensable part of the holiday festivities. Pistachios, pine nuts, candies, chocolates and beef jerky are all on the list of must-buy Spring Festival goods every year.

"This year's festival is going well. All of Zhengxin Street is full of a strong Spring Festival atmosphere," she said.

During the festival, those who buy Spring Festival goods worth more than 100 yuan ($14.76) can get a free shopping bag printed with the logo of Yunyan's latest urban culture IP.

They can also participate in lottery activities on the spot to win prizes such as candy gift boxes, customized thermos cups, Spring Festival couples, red envelopes, window grille paper-cuts, and paper draws.
