As of Oct 7, 35 industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual output value of 20 million yuan ($2.81 million) or more – in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had resumed operations.
Sixteen big data enterprises above a designated size in the district are expected to resume stable operations by Oct 15.
During the National Day holiday from Oct 1-7, Yunyan's bureau of industry and information technology coordinated the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, and promoted the resumption of operations among industrial and big data enterprises.
The bureau set up four teams to visit industrial enterprises and big data enterprises above a designated size to find out the number of employees, carry out nucleic acid and antigen testing, receive applications for site codes, and coordinate and solve problems encountered during the resumption of operations.
