A 24-hour urban smart bookstore opened in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 31, providing a new cultural venue for residents.

The bookstore is located in the district's Incity Shopping Center. It consists of areas for adult reading, family activities, reading and sharing, and Party building.
It is open 24 hours a day and has a rich collection of books, ranging from children's picture albums to history, humanities and other books.
All local citizens can borrow books for free, and each person can borrow up to three books at a time for up to one month.

On the 23rd of each month, the Incity Shopping Center will cooperate with merchants to hold a reading salon in the bookstore.
"You can enter the bookstore by swiping your ID card, record your face information at the self-service borrowing and returning machine, and then begin borrowing books after completing registration," said Yuan Fang, a resident of Yunyan.
