Yunyan's sub-district sees results in construction of 15-minute living circle

As one of the first 15-minute living circle construction sites in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the Yu'an sub-district 15-minute living circle covers an area of about 1.91 square kilometers and serves 51,000 people.

About a 5-minute walk from the Yu'an sub-district office is the Yunyan 24-hour smart bookstore, which was put into use in November, 2021.

The bookstore has more than 3,000 books in its collection, is free and is open 24 hours a day. Visitors can borrow and lend books with their ID cards.

It takes about 4 minutes to walk to the Yunyan district library from the bookstore. Covering an area of 3,500 square meters, the library provides readers with high-quality cultural services and a comfortable reading environment.

The Yu'an sub-district elderly care service center is only an 8-minute walk from the Yunyan district library. The center focuses on providing professional, personalized public welfare nursing services and medical services for the disabled, partially disabled and elderly.

In addition, the Yu'an sub-district 15-minute living circle has 16 parking lots with 15,805 parking spaces, four farmers' markets, six community comprehensive cultural service centers, one community health service center, and nine outdoor fitness fields.
