The No 606 pocket bus route of the Qianling village committee recently started trial operations in Qianling village in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
A pocket bus is also known as a micro-circulation bus. Due to the continuous development of the city, more and more urban areas and communities are difficult to access via traditional public transportation, resulting in the creation of pocket buses.

Due to its short distance, few stops and fast speed, the pocket bus has become an effective public transportation solution.
This is the first pocket bus route to open in a village in Yunyan.
The first station of the pocket bus is the Qianling village committee and the final station is Zhaiji Garden. The bus line has 13 stations, including many schools in Yunyan, so residents also see it as a student bus route.
It operates from 7 am to 7 pm., and there is a bus every half hour from 7 am to 9 am to ensure students can make it to school.
"Since the launch of the pocket bus, we can take the bus right outside our house, which is really convenient," said He Yuanju, a resident of Qianling village.
