Market entities thrive in Yunyan

In recent years, Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been working to ease the burden on market entities in the district and provide them with a relaxed, convenient, fair and orderly development environment.

Since the beginning of this year, 10,812 new market entities have begun operating in the district, including 3,085 enterprises and 7,727 self-employed entrepreneurs.

There are currently a total of 118,309 market entities in Yunyan.

The district is promoting internet + government services, accelerating the construction of service-oriented windows, simplifying the process of obtaining certificates, and improving the efficiency of examination and approval processes to create a convenient market access environment.

The Yunyan district government service center has continued to increase the investment and use of intelligent and information-based self-service equipment for government services and improved the hardware facilities of service windows.

In addition, a series of measures to help enterprises have been adopted in the district.

These measures are for the service, catering, retail, tourism and transportation industries, and involve taxation, social security insurance, housing rent, water and gas supply, market regulation, vocational training, and consumption.

From April to May, a total of 1,836 tax refunds were processed in the district, involving 359.85 million yuan ($53.82 million) and benefiting 1,836 enterprises.
