After two years of renovation, Grand Guizhou Park Hotel in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently reopened to the public.
The hotel opened in 1989 and became Southwest China's tallest building and first Sino-foreign joint venture hotel. It became Guizhou's first three-star hotel in 1991 and first four-star hotel in 1998.
The renovated hotel features elements of Guizhou's Dong ethnic group, while the interior design draws inspiration from Miao embroidery, tie-dye patterns and silverware.
The hotel's total floor area is more than 70,000 square meters and it has 516 guest rooms, conference rooms, Chinese and western restaurants, fitness rooms and recreation rooms.
