The district is said to have had a vibrant festive atmosphere, with booming shopping and sales at supermarkets and a sufficient supply of daily necessities.

The major shopping malls and supermarkets in the district launched discounts and promotions to more effectively meet the daily purchasing needs of residents and to further boost the consumer market.

In addition to traditional New Year's greetings and shopping, watching movies has gradually become a New Year's custom. This year's Spring Festival movies also provided audiences with a broad variety of themes and types of film.

Over the break, the box office revenue of 10 cinemas in the district reached 7.19 million yuan, with attendances by 126,800 moviegoers.
