Yunyan welcomes in Spring Festival

The Wujin Road neighborhood committee of Xihe sub-district in Yunyan district organized volunteers to hold a Spring Festival couplets and the Chinese character "Fu" sending activity on Jan 21.

This year's Spring Festival falls on Feb 1 and the Yunyan district is located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

At the activity, volunteers created Spring Festival couplets with great bonhomie.

The activity attracted many residents to come to pick the Chinese characters "Fu" and choose from the Spring Festival couplets.

A total of more than 100 Spring Festival couplets and Chinese Fu characters were sent out during the event.

Locals said the event was fun and created a strong New Year's atmosphere.
