The "Cool Guiyang, Wenchang Yunyan" city brand intellectual property (IP) image design competition and the "Guiyang Gift, Yunyan Gift" cultural and creative product design competition were launched on Jan 21 in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The city brand IP image design competition will select a logo and mascot themed on "Cool Guiyang, Wenchang Yunyan", which should accurately express and spread the urban spiritual concepts and values of Yunyan district, and improve the image and development strategy of the district.
The cultural and creative product design competition is mainly aimed at the distinct culture, tourist attractions and famous buildings of Yunyan.
Selected mascots and cultural and creative products will be represented by cultural tourism landmarks such as Wenchang Pavilion, Yangming Temple and Qianling Mountain.
The competitions are open to design companies and designers across the country.
Works will be collected from Jan 21 to March 20 and the selection process will finish between March 21 and 30.
On China Tourism Day on May 19, the "Guiyang Gift, Yunyan Gift" cultural and creative product design competition will hold product promotion activities.
