Yunyan People's Congress holds annual session

The first session of the 18th Yunyan District People's Congress came to an end on Jan 8 in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, with 246 deputies attending.

The session voted and passed a list of members of the special committee for social construction of the Yunyan District People's Congress, passed resolutions on the implementation of the 2021 Yunyan district's economic and social development plan, the 2022 economic and social development plan, and the implementation of Yunyan district's financial budget of 2021 and 2022.

The resolutions on the work reports of the standing committee of the Yunyan District People's Congress, Court, and Procuratorate were also passed.

Zhu Gang, Party secretary of Yunyan district and the executive chairman of the session, issued certificates of election to the newly elected Yunyan District People's Government Head Wang Qian and the Yunyan District People's Congress Standing Committee Director Yang Xiaoyang.
