Yunyan further optimizes business environment

Since the beginning of this year, Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been deepening reforms to streamline administration, delegate power, improve regulation, upgrade government services and optimize its business environment.

Guizhou Meiyuanhui Information Consulting Co, originally located in Nanming district, is a diversified information consulting service company. On Jan 4 this year, Kai Feng, who was responsible for the company, went to the market supervision bureau of Yunyan district to inquire about the enterprise migration process.

The staff member quickly issued an enterprise migration acceptance letter and submitted the enterprise's cross-regional migration data through the provincial business handling platform.

"I received a new business license the next day. It's very convenient," Kai said.

The district has already achieved one-door services covering 47 units and departments, and all 1,175 business items have been included in the Guizhou government service network, with an online availability rate of 100 percent.

On Nov 18, Cheng Rong, the person in charge of Guizhou Zhongtao Huayi Tax Agent Co, logged on to the website of the Guizhou Provincial Electronic Taxation Bureau to apply for added-value tax invoices and received express delivery paper invoices the next day.

"It's really convenient to apply for invoices online for free," Cheng said.

This was due to measures such as free mailing of invoices for online applications launched by Yunyan's taxation authority.

The Yunyan taxation authority has also introduced self-service terminal equipment and provided enterprises with tax policy explanations and 24-hour intelligent consultation services.
