Intl school in Yunyan develops rapidly

The Guiyang Branch School of Beijing Fangcaodi International School started operating in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, in 2015. For several years, through the efforts of teachers, the school has undergone rapid development.

After the school was established, the Beijing headquarters sent two principals to provide professional guidance for two years to teach management and train teachers.

Meanwhile, the branch school and headquarters school have established a core teacher training mechanism. Each year, the branch school will send some teachers to Beijing for one to two months to learn and improve their teaching capabilities.

Every year, the headquarters school will send key teachers to the Guiyang branch to carry out teaching seminars, attend classes, offer guidance, identify problems, and make suggestions.

"Each class in our school has its own museum theme, and students will decorate the corresponding museum cultural wall according to the theme, allowing them to take the initiative to look up information and learn independently during the preparation process," said Wu Yan, a teacher at the Guiyang school.

In daily teaching, teachers integrate international issues into teaching, so that students are exposed to national affairs during early education.

In recent years, students at the Guiyang branch school have won a number of honors, such as second-place in the National Robot Competition, first-place in the Guizhou Robotics Competition, first-place in the Guiyang Robot Competition, and first-place in the Guiyang Badminton Competition (junior group).
