New cultural, creative park opens in Yunyan

The first Guiyang Qinhe Traditional Culture and Art Festival opened at the Guiyang Qinhe Chinese Studies Cultural and Creative Park on Sept 26 to mark the opening of the park.

The Guiyang Qinhe Chinese Studies Cultural and Creative Park is located in Chadian village, Qianling town, Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

In the first half of this year, the park was selected as a key cultural property project of Yunyan for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.

The Qinhe Traditional Culture and Art Festival is a traditional cultural and art event planned and organized by the Guiyang Qinhe Chinese Studies Cultural and Creative Park.

It is scheduled to be held between the Mid-Autumn and Double Ninth festivals every year. It will carry out a series of traditional cultural activities, allow the public to experience traditional culture and customs, show the essence of Chinese learning, enhance cultural confidence, and further promote and spread China's excellent traditional culture and art.

At the opening ceremony, wonderful performances such as martial arts, boxing and tai chi were on stage, winning applause from the audience.

"The Qinhe Traditional Culture and Art Festival is very meaningful, and learning Chinese traditional culture through the experience is very valuable," said Chen Yuan, a resident of Chadian village.
