Yunyan companies shine at CAEXPO

The 18th China-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Expo (CAEXPO) is being held in Nanning, a city in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sept 10-13. Three companies from Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, are participating in the expo.

The three companies are Guizhou Liuwenlan Food Co, Guizhou Yangtai Biotechnology Co, and Guizhou Tyre Import and Export Co.

At the signing ceremony of the Guiyang Guian Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference under the RCEP held on Sept 9, an important event of the CAEXPO, Guizhou Tyre Import and Export Co signed a procurement contract for light and heavy truck tires valued at about 65 million yuan ($10.08 million).

Guizhou Liuwenlan Food Co showcased its six special products, including oiled chili, fresh chili sauce, and chicken chili, at the expo, attracting many visitors.

In addition, Guizhou Yangtai Biotechnology Co displayed various types of roxburgh rose products, which received a lot of praise from the public.

It is hoped that the CAEXPO will help Yunyan expand its opening-up, enhance the visibility of enterprises in the district, and explore the ASEAN international market, according to Song Ling, deputy director of Yunyan's bureau of commerce.
