A rural revitalization bureau was recently established in Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to local news reports.
Part of the city's wider efforts to revitalize its rural areas, the bureau will mainly be engaged in consolidating achievements already made in poverty alleviation and coordinating work related to rural revitalization.
It will reportedly help with the revitalization in the district of industry, the workforce, organizations, the environment and culture.
The bureau will also aim to advance economic, political, cultural, social and eco-friendly development in the district, to boost the modernization of the rural governance system.
