Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, came second on the province's regional credit index rankings for the fourth quarter of 2020, according to a report released by the province's information center.
The district also ranked first in terms of credit data monitoring and business environment indicators, the report shows.
The index ranking system looks at several areas: credit event monitoring and analysis, business environment analysis, credit work implementation and credit application promotion. Compared with the third quarter of 2020, the district's comprehensive ranking has risen by 10 places, while the business environment indicators ranked first for two consecutive quarters.
Yunyan district has always attached great significance to the construction of a social credit system.
It encourages traditional values, including honesty and social integrity, and strengthens judicial protection of people's livelihoods and carries out special inspections.
The district is continuing to improve its business environment. According to the regional credit monitoring indicator system and credit evaluation standards, Yunyan district has ranked first for two consecutive quarters in the business environment evaluation, which analyzes six categories: A-level taxpayers, new companies, abnormal business lists, major illegal and untrustworthy companies, untrustworthy persons and typical business incidents.
Also, the district promotes credit rewards and punishments. It is improving the construction of credit platforms and related training to strengthen citizens' understanding of the importance and necessity of establishing the social credit system.
In the future, the district will establish a working mechanism of dynamic catalog management, standard data protection and orderly information sharing. It will also continue to deepen the building of a social credit system.
