Yunyan firm honored with province's highest-level quality award

Guizhou Tyre Co Ltd, a company based in Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, won a provincial-level quality award on Dec 30, 2020.

The award, known as the governor quality award, is the highest level of quality award in the province approved by the county.

The honor is primarily bestowed upon outstanding enterprises that boast excellent development qualities, generate significant benefits, and make exceptional contributions to the province's economic and social development and play a considerable industry benchmark role.

Cai Jiali, director of Yunyan's market supervision bureau, said that in recent years the district has made great efforts to help its enterprises apply for the award, giving policy guidance and promoting companies to improve their brand competitiveness.

The district also established a quality development archive, classifying enterprises according to their industry and assessment level – either A, B or C. The assessment ranking is based on companies' comprehensive qualifications, certifications, patents, standards, honors and economic contributions.

In addition, Yunyan has carried out quality management and improvement actions, making short publicity videos to enhance the quality awareness of enterprises in the district.
