A joint research and development center for Guizhou's internet of things circuit breaker and smart power was established on Jan 5 in Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Jointly launched by Shenzhen Mantunsci Technology Co Ltd and Guizhou Weikedun Technology Co Ltd, the R&D center aims to build a smart power safety monitoring system and a big data cloud platform for electric energy services. The facility will guarantee residents' access to power, improve electrical fire prevention and warning capabilities, and save energy.
The center will research and develop power internet of things equipment, power internet of things digital electrical terminals, and electrical digital smart terminals.
Guizhou Weikedun Technology is a high-tech enterprise that was founded in December 2019. It has received huge support from the district.
Company representative Zhang Xiaokang said that the two companies would cooperate on products, technology, personnel and funding, and jointly develop Guizhou's smart electricity brand to ensure people's electricity safety.
Zhao Rongwen, deputy head of the district government, said that Yunyan would continue to provide services for companies and help produce new products and technologies to promote its innovation-driven growth.
